The tour will start at 8:00am in Copacabana. We will pick you up at your lodge (please send us a message with local address). Heading to Barra da Tijuca, along the coastline enjoying the undulations of the coastal area of the sea and the mountains.

Barra da Tijuca lies between the almost 20 km of beach and the two massifs that contemplate the forest of Pedra Branca and the forest of Tijuca, two large urban forests with the two highest points of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Pico da Pedra Branca and Pico da Tijuca. Between these two forests is the modern Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, with its four large lagoons, that form the so called Carioca Pantanal, surrounded by modern and contemporary buildings, office buildings and condos.

For this reason, Barra da Tijuca is the destination of new companies that seek space to establish their headquarters
and branches, and residents who prefer wide avenues and many malls. It was here that the 2016 Olympic Games took place, and a Golf Course was built specially for the return of this sport, which for more than a century was not considered in this dispute.

The Casa do Pontal Museum presents a collection of 5,000 works, the largest and most important collection of popular art from all regions of Brazil. Over 40 years, the French designer Jacques Van de Beuque documented Brazilian customs and folklore, typical dances of the Northeast, such as Jongo, the precursor of the current Samba characteristic of the carnival of Rio de Janeiro. One of the featured artists is Master Vitalino, so famous that he has works at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
